Intense positivity in progenitor olfactory neurones in the svz of the lateral ventricle.

A lighter positivity is seen in the neuropil of the caudate putamen ( also called “striatum”?).

Compare with  mouse DCX, NeuN and HuC/D  images in serial sections of this region.

Progenitor olfactory neurones in svz of lateral ventricle are positive. Exit zone to the right in the image.

Caudate putamen where progenitor olfactory neurones ( concentration of blue nuclei) migrate from the svz of the lateral ventricle.

Nigral-striatal nerve track in sagittal section.

Caudate putamen shows intense punctate positivity in the grey matter. Soma of neurones are negative. Corpus callosum is to the right ( sagittal section).

Cerebellum.

I cannot find supporting images so, I cannot guarantee the specificity.

Hippocampus

Cerebellum: Dendritic fields of molecular layer and Glomeruli of Granule cell layer are positive.

Arrowheads: green indicates proximal convoluted tubules; red points to  Macula densa of distal convoluted tubules; blue points to afferent or efferent blood vessel of renal corpuscle.
