C3d and Clusterin in human senescing testis: FFPWS using Abcam’s ab136916 and ab69644
C3d is positive for epididyimal epithelium; Clusterin is positive for ECM around epidydidimal tubules. Note that “functioning” tubules have a single Clusterin positivity but, senescing tubules are multi-layered. Senescent tubules seem to become singular wrt Clusterin

C3d in senescing human testis: FFPWS using Abcam ab136916
Compare this result with same field, using Abcam ab69644 ( anti Clusterin). Interestingly, C3d is positive for the senescing seminiferous tubules’ cytoplasm but the “disorganised” Clusterin expression ( compared with non-senescing tubules) is still limited to the connective tissue tunica ( ECM) of the tubules. I do not know of the significance of this, if there is one!
GFAP in human AD brain: FFPWS using Abcam ab4648
Astrocytes can be seen to be surrounding an amyloid plaque
Biglycan in human spinal cord: FFPWS using Abcam ab209234
Comparing expression pattern in normal ( upper image, showing dorsal root entry zone) and traumatic injury specimen ( lower).
F4/80 ( ADGRE1 ) in mouse brain: IHC-P using Abcam ab300421
Excellent positivity in microglia, only
Complement 3d in rat spleen : FFPWS using R&D’s AF2655.
I do not know if this is specific: however, there is a very strong +ty in what I think are B-cells ( in white pulp) and also in plasma of blood vessels ( most evident in the larger bvs alongside the trabelculae
Clusterin in human testis: FFPWS using Abcam ab69644
Note the differences in positivity/distribution between normal, atrophying and atrophied seminiferous tubules
