Cerebellum: positivity is confined to neuropil of the molecular layer

Forming rib to the left; lung to the right.

Red indicates positivity in nerve; green indicates osteoblast positivity. A moderate positivity is also seen in interstitium of lung and the smooth muscle of the airways.

T/S through body at thoracic level. Neuropil of spinal cord, ganglia and nerves are positive. Collagen ( ?tendinous?) around cartilage is also positive.

HPA shows a similar positivity in lung ( rated as enhanced-orthogonal) tho not as clear, imho.

The black pigment is carbon within macrophages, surrounding a blood vessel.

Excellent positivity under standard conditions ( Citra HIER/stABCpx-DAB). This ab is biotinylated so, using the std ABC technique I was able to achieve a high dilution factor ( 1/5K).

Should be diluted further, under these conditions.

I haven’t submitted an Abreview for this Ab as I forgot who gave me a sample ( so no lot number…doh!)

CA3 region of hippocampus.

Intense axonal initial  -segment positivity.

A moderate diffuse neuropil positivity.

A scattered punctate positivity amongst the moderate neuropil positivity.
