Membraneous positivity in DRG cells. In spinal cord, white matter is positive ( as are dorsal root nerves): also, more intense positivity in floor plate.

Breast  cancer cells lodging in lung capillaries.

Comments welcome regarding the plate-like positivity seen at the luminal surface of the bronchiolar epithelium.

Similar pattern as Abcam anti NCAD ab but…..some non-specific muscle positivity.

Osteoblasts surrounding hypertrophic chondrocytes are positive.

Interestingly…..perhaps NCAD is like FGF/r….badly named, in light of subsequent findings? Or, this ab x-reacts with another protein?

Cardiomyocytes and smooth muscle cells’ membranes are positive: identical pattern of positivity to that seen using BD anti NCAD.

Cardiomyocytes ( upper) and smooth muscle cells of developing bv ( lower) show membraneous positivity.

I do not know if this is specific.

However, it is membraneous.

It appears to be between each epithelial cell; apical surface only
