Must be something pathological with this kidney as there is an abnormally high number of macrophages in the blood vessel – in the middle, running from top-to-bottom….and vice versa 😉

Excellent positivity of ramified ( quiescent) microglia.

Positivity is restricted to collagen associated with exterior of Bowman’s capsule and mesangium of glomerulus.

Cortico-medullary junction is shown.  collagen surrounding the  Collecting ducts of the medulla are positive.

Hippocampus is shown.

Collagen matrix is negative. Associated tendon matrix  is positive ( green); as is matrix  within artery ( red)  and vein ( blue).

Strong labelling of collagen between muscle layers and around individual fibres but, absent from the collagen of the adventitia.

Basal lamina obvious around sebaceous glands but absent around hair follicle.
