Dnmt3a in Mouse testis: FFPWS using Abcam ab23565

As in all other anti Dnmt3a antibodies I have tested, there is strong nuclear positivity in ?spermatogonia? cells. A moderate cytoplasmic positivity is seen.

Strong nuclear positivity is shown in the ?spermatogonia” layer.

There is a moderate positivity in nuclei of many developing sperm cells.

There is also a moderate cytoplasmic positivity, most obvious in fully formed sperm cells.

HPA shows strong nuclear positivity throughout the layers.

I only get the ? spermatogonia? nuclei immunostaining.

Upper image shows positivity in clusters of cells , mostly within the red pulp ( there are some positive cells within the white pulp, however).

Lower image is a H&E to demonstrate that mature rbcs are negative for this antibody ( the pink cells with no nuclei).

3rd trimester placenta. Strong positivity is seen in the cytoplasm of trophoblasts. Should the foetal endothelial cells ( within the villi) be also positive?
