Refer to image of same section but, viewed under TRITC filter using a mercury halide lamp, increased sensitivity is seen ( eg: amyloid in capillary wall)

Note the plaques and neurone intracellular positivity ( using Covance SIG-39320) are seen in  green.

Microglia ( using Wako 019-19741 ) are clustered around the plaques but, are infrequently seen as amoeboid ( ? activated?)

Too much background: further dilution of primary antibody needed.

Extracellular amyloid only seen.

Note the melanin-containing cells in the dermis?

Strange?
