Hi everyone

Some wrinkles are almost inevitable with paraffin processing and sectioning
of brain, unless the block is of "normal" size. The use of dilute alcohol is
an old trick (20% seems rather strong to me), but is likely to not work too
well with brain, as the meninges will probably explode on floating out. Our
solution was to use a microbiology loop to tease out bubbles and major
creases, which takes a little practice but can work well. It will be time
consuming I know, but if creases are a problem they need to be eliminated.
