Intense positivity in a subset of Islet of Langerhans cells’ cytoplasm.

Ossification: strong positivity in what appear to be osteoblasts.

Intense cytoplasmic positivity is seen in what appear to be progenitor olfactory interneurons, in the subventricular region ( and the RMS) of the lateral ventricle.

Positivity seen in optic nerve ( punctate)   as well as in  developing skeletal muscle ( intense)

Upper image of wt mouse shows a tight ALDH1A1 positivity around a capillary.

Lower image of a TASTPM mouse model, using the same antibody shows an apparently severely disrupted “blood-brain barrier” around a blood vessel? Positivity in/arond the amyloid plaque most likely astrocytes. Like microglia they are attracted to plaques ( as foregin bodies??)

Almost a mirror image of CD44.
