Basal nuclei of respiratory epithelia are positive.

However, there is also a distinct posivity in olfactory nerve fibres.

Is this specific?

This specimen is of nasal septum ( hence the underlying cartilage).

Poor quality due to not drying section long enuf!

However….most layers of the epidermal nuclei are positive.

NB: one can see occasional  blue nuclei within the epidermis ( thus p63 negative).

All lung epithelial nuclei are negative.

However: nerve fibres are positive.

Specific?

Most nuclei of lining urothelial cells appear positive ( perhaps the most superficial are negative)

Coloured arrowheads indicate nerve positivity: black for nerve bundles; red for individual nerve fibres ( is this specific? I cannot find corroborating data. Maybe this rabbit polyclonal is also picking up shared epitopes in a nerve fibre protein,  that is not p63?)

Nuclei of basal epithelial lining cells in oesophagus and trachea are positive. Black arrowheads indicate positivity in cytoplasm of nerve plexuses of both….specific?

Not that dermal nerves are also positive ( cytoplasmic not nuclear, as in developing epidermal cells).

Is the cytoplasmic nerve positivity specific?
