Simon:
You have pretty much described the Ventana special stainer, with the
exception of coverslipper compatibility. Here at Harris we love ours. We
dehydrate and clear on our our Sakura stainers and coverslip with the Sakura
coverslipper all after we remove the slides from the special satiner. the
software does keep track of everything from expiration dates of reagents to
how often the stain was done. Again we love ours at Harris.

Dear all,
I know this question has been asked and answered about a million times
before, but can anyone recommend an automated stainer that can cope with two
or three special stains at the same time, and will interface with a PC to
allow the recording of batch data for GLP purposes? Compatibility with an
automatic coverslipper (glass) preferable.
Typically this question comes up when everyone this side of the pond is
headed east to Providence so any answers, however hurried, gratefully
received.
TIA
Simon
