Hi Tim,
Pharmingen's ICAM-1(CD54) (cat 22491D) works well in rat paraffin
embedded tissue. I use 2.5µg/ml of primary diluted in Dako® antibody
diluent overnight at 4oC with citrate microwave pretreatment. I use
biotinolated polyclonal anti mouse secondary (adsorbed to rat) and LSAB
(Dako®) with DAB. (The catalog has the protocol in the back) Adjust
for your particular needs. They have many antibodies made specifically
for use on rat and mouse tissues.
