Histo-experts,
There are some in the lab where I work that don't feel it is
necessary to use a clean (sta-on free) water bath for
immunohistochemistry. The times that they "forgot" , there was no
noticble background problems on the resulting immuno-stained slides.
I was always told to use a clean water bath with no additives. If
there is apparently not a problem with background, is there any other
reason that we shouldn't use our routine water bath that contains
"sta-on"?
Many thanks, Sandosis
