Perhaps your pathologist is confusing starch with blueing. Both are regular
laundry products and often were used in rinse water. You might get some
laundry blueing (used to whiten whites, etc) and try it for him.<<
Well, any pathologist who doesn't know the difference between starch and
bluing didn't spend enough time in his (or even her) mamma's kitchen when he
was growing up. - Interestingly, the same people who make Mrs. Stewart's
blueing make the Davidson marking inks, which anyone who uses more than one
color of marking ink should be using. See
