We currently have both stainers, they are both good, however on the ventana
you must use seperate module for special stains, on the cytologix we can do
both simultaneously and run both overnite if need be. The special stains on
the cytologix are exceptional in quality and allow for tweaking to suit your
pathologist, the ventana are a fixed protocol, the immuno on the ventana are
good , so are they on the cytologix, the cytologix has less consumables to
purchase if you like and can run without barcodes, also daily maintenance on
the cytologix takes about 10 minutes, longer on the ventana. Cytologix has
been very receptive to our needs, and is and has been readily available.
