control of dust in lab

From:Gayle Callis

Super dust remover other than a damp cloth, try Swiffers or whatever the
chemical magnet cloths used to clean floors, a box is cheap. Also 3M has
a reusable waffle weave cloth, sold in cleaning sections of grocery stores
(near scouring pads, etc). WallyLand and other discount stores will have
them cheaper. They come in yellow, pink and blue, attract dust efficiently
even on scanner glass surfaces! They polish glass and even stove surfaces,
AND can be washed with regular detergents, but don't use fabric softners in
washers - negates the charge on the cloths. They are used dry and can be
dampened for fine polishing.
