Leitz products, along with Cambridge Instruments, American Optical, Bausch & 
Lomb and Reichert-Jung were taken over a few years ago by Leica.

You might be able to get the correct information by calling Leica Customer 
Service at 1-800-248-0123.  Ask for Don Birgerson.  Don has a huge amount of 
knowledge about all things Leica and Leitz, as far as the specimen 
preparation instruments.
