while you make good, sound points....i still would like to know just exactly
what do we (histotechs) get out of the dues paid yearly to the ASCP other
than a nice little sticker?
btw, i dropped my ASCP affiliation years ago for precisely this reason....no
benefits from them for the money paid in.  i pay dues for an NSH membership
which i am far more likely to get benefit from.
