Also, check out: "Histochemical Localization of AP activity in decalcified
bone and Cartilage" by Dengshun Miao and Andrew Scutt in the Journal of
Histochemistry and Cytochemistry Volume 50(3): 333-340, 2002
They use a funky fixative and do a series of glycerol/sucrose infiltration
steps in conjunction with their EDTA decal, but they report good results!
