Hi Histonetters,

We are having a very difficult time cutting spinal cord. Even after long 
soaking, it seems to come off the microtome beautifully, but after staining, 
we see "cracking" of the tissue. Do you have any hint for soaking after 
processing?  I seem to remember either soap or ammonia solution as a 
softening agent. I would really appreciate some advice.
