Hi All,
I am in need of your help again.  Does anyone out there have a protocol for the 
Hirsch and Peiffer stain (1959) for metachromatic leukodystrophy?  It is 
actually an acidified cresyl violet stain (or von Peiffers reaction), but I need
the specifics.  Not found in any of the texts, and I found the original 
paper-but its in German and no time to translate!! Thanks,any help woud be 
appreciated.
