We have the Ventana Nexes IHC and have tried the special stain module.  I 
personally love the IHC,  but the special stain module can't compare to the 
quality of a manual speciall stain that we perform in our laboratory.  I have 
heard other people state that they would not be without the special stain 
module, but it has not worked very well for us.  We are returning the special 
stain module as soon as possible.   I do however recommend the Nexes-IHC
