I would also echo these sentiments. I think that the only vendors who have
been discouraged in the past have been ones who have blatantly used the
histonet to advertise their products and cast dispersions on those of other
companies. Fortunately those vendors are a very small minority. I would
encourage vendors to let us know about their new products and innovations
and products which they feel would solve a stated problem. This is a
valuable resource for us.
This is of course a very fine line.
I think that most of us appreciate the help that vendors give us both
privately in individual labs and also with state and local meetings.
