We need to do lectin stains on blood smears. I have done lectin stains on tissues in the past, but have questions about blood smears.
Do I need to do blocking steps (ie: 3% H202/MeOH and protein blocker)?
Do I need to pre-treat with trypsin?
My gut instinct is no to both questions, but would appreciate any insight.
Thank you,
Jane
