If you are working with mouse tissue, you may not have success with aldehyde
fixed tissue.
The fixative they recommend is the zinc TRIS buffered fixative,
which contains no formalin. Your decalcification may not work with this
fixative, acids do not, and best of all you DO NOT NEED TO DO any antigen
retrieval with this fixative. PharMingen clearly states that this antibody is
NOT recommended for use with formalin fixed paraffin sections, sorry which
means no antigen retrieval will bail you out.

You may have to resort to undecalcified bone frozen sections, acetone fixed,
and if the calcium messes up the IHC, you could try to do an EDTA on the
section.
