Frozen formalin
I work in a research lab, so I get samples
from many different sources. And they arrive in various ways. Today
I received samples in 10% NBF. Then they placed the vials in dry ice before
they mailed them. When I received these samples, both the tissue and the
formalin was frozen.
Has anyone gotten samples like this?
And how should I handle them? Will the H&E staining and the immunos be
affected?
I would appreciate any insight.
Thanks
