I have not tried CD4 or CD8 on rabbit tissue.  We have had success using
anti human CD4 and CD8 on primate tissue.  Both clones were purchased form
Novocastra.  Before buying anti human antibodies, check out the antibody
spec sheet on line or give a call to tech services.  Sometimes a vendor will
have information on cross reactivity for their antibodies.
