I would recommend contacting our Molecular Pathologist, Dr. Gregory Tsongalis. He has primers for various bacteria. He can be reached at (860) 545-2308 or at "Gtsonga@harthosp.org".

Fellow histonetters,
Are any of you aware of anyone who can accept tissue samples and analyze by
PCR for universal bacterial primers? I have 60 samples of periprosthetic
tissue (30 patients/replicates of 2x) collected into sterile TE buffer
during revision TJA surgery. Willing to pay, of course, for service.
Thanks!
