hello all, we are doing sentinel nodes at our hosp. and it is funny my head
pathologist came in today and ask me to get on histonet and find out if
others were doing them and how. so i was happy to see something about it
today. she had gotten the protocol from stanford that we are doing, on
breast we cut 8 sections, 3 are stained for H and E and the three
alternating slides are stained with keratin. the last two are hold slides.
for melanoma we cut 5 slides and stain H and E , s-100 is stained on 2
random sections. we do not do HMB-45.
