HI all. I was wondering if anyone has seen the new NY licensure requirements
for lab techs? The way I am reading it, it looks like histotechs will be
classified as Clinical Laboratory Technologists/Technicians, but I could be
wrong. There is a grandfather clause in the law. The law is Article 165, or
the Clinical Laboratory Technology Practice Act. I would appreciate input
and more information on this new law. Thank you.
