Dear Dr Cotroneo,  You didn't find Omnifix or Ancon 
on any of my web pages.  (Check out the one in my
email address below.)  

What is Omnifix? If it's some mumbo-jumbo 
trade-secret mixture, don't use it. Fixation
affects what you see with your microscope.
If you cannot mix your own, buy a 100%
disclosed published fixative mixture.
