Dear All,
We are trying to detect the vesicular stomatitis virus glycoprotein in
western blotting. We are using the commercially available, P5D4,
monoclonal antibody to the cytoplasmic tail of VSV-G. Unfortunately
this recognises another protein of similar size to the VSV-G in our cell
line TE671. Does anybody know of another antibody or of a source for a
polyclonal serum against VSV-G which we could use?? Or have any tips to
prevent this happening?
