Interesting discussion, just had one with another lady this morning.
Contact Molecular Probes about their mounting media kits.  They also
have a sheet to show which fluorochromes are more compatible with
whose mounting medias.  It was an eyeopener, pardon the pun, and they include
Vector's products, plus others mounted over FITC, and several other
fluorochromes.  Made for an interesting array of what to use with
which fluorochrome to have intense flourescence, and so on---------
