Hi Folks,
I realize that this is an off the wall kind of question, but I was
wondering if anyone had any experience detecting polyvinylpyrrolidone in
tissue. I have a few references stating that Congo Red can be used to
detect this substance. The one reference that I have followed has used a
1% solution of Congo Red (made in 10% ETOH) followed with a light green
counterstain. This seems like an awful lot of Congo Red. Any thoughts?
Thanks in advance,
Margaret
