Hazel Johnson asks if it's possible to do a frozen section on a nasal
passage specimen.
Physically, it doesn't present a problem unless there's bone or a lot
of cartilage in it.
Diagnostically, it could be quite useful. If getting a frozen section
is going to change what the surgeon does to the patient at that same
procedure, then the frozen section should be done.
But this is a question for a pathologist, a question that shouldn't be
dumped onto a histotechnologist!
