RE: [Histonet] silver proteinate
We use to get ours from Kodak, but I don't know if they still sell it. Good luck and Happy Holidays!

Subject: [Histonet] silver proteinate
Can someone let me know a company and catalog number where I can buy silver
protein/silver proteinate/protargol?
It's for the Bodian. We are almost out of the container that we've had for a
lot of years (company no longer in business).
I've ordered twice now, and the stain does not work with what I've ordered.
I know I'm doing the stain correctly, as the old protargol works great.
So obviously, I'm ordering the wrong silver protein.
(Yes, I know that Bielchowski is a better stain. I like to teach my students
both methods, just for comparison.)
Thanks.
