Denise,
There are X and Y cDNA probes around that are used in chromosome painting
aka skypainting. I am not sure if they can be used in other ISH
applications, though. Roche (formerly Boerhinger Mannheim) has them as does
Spectral Imaging
(http://www.spectral-imaging.com/website/webpages/probes.html). Try calling
their tech services for help. I would think a Medline search wopuld pull up
something useful, too.
