I have a post-doc researcher who is interested in finding someone out
in histoland who can do some contract work. (Our on-site lab is
currently way overworked by my own lab's submissions.) He has fish
larvae already embedded in LR White (I'm not familiar with this kind of
plastic). The blocks are 1 mm thick and 3-4 mm long. He would like to
get some serial H+E sections of 3 to 5 um thick, along with some
unstained slides perhaps for future IHC (apoptosis staining maybe).
There are 35-40 blocks. Question to interested parties: How much
would you charge (per block or per slide?) and what kind of turn-around
time are we talking about?
Many thanks to the Histonet again!
