Here's a message Dee and Dick from Anatech were having trouble posting to the list:
Subject, Re: Brazilian
Anatech Ltd. has a large supply of a single lot of fine grade Brazilin,
enough to serve the histology community for many years. This is NOT the
crude material often encountered in the fiber arts market. It makes a
wonderful red nuclear stain in Harris, Delafield's and Gill formulations.
Use about double what you would ordinarily use with hematoxylin. If you
have had supply/technical problems with nuclear fast red, you will want to
try this.
We were going to introduce this product soon, but decided to notify
HistoNet subscribers now because of the recent postings on the subject. =3D
We
will also sell the ready-to-use stain if there is sufficient interest.
Please contact us via email or phone.
The dry powder is available in 10 g quantities, Cat. # 855, $70.00 plus
freight. Sales are limited to customers in the United States.
