I am a new subscriber to Histonet and I have a few quick questions
for anyone who might be able to help.
1) Where can I obtain polyethylene film for use in the prevention
of folding of PMMA sections?
2) What is the mechanism by which the sections adhere to the glass
slides, and if there is any adhesive commonly used.
I will be embedding vascular stent grafts (with metal tines) in
the Technovit T9100 resin and sectioning using a tungsten carbide blade on
a rotary microtome, does anyone have experience with PMMA embedded stent
grafts and especially if they have had sucessfull antibody staining
results?
